Gideon Kodjo Narh is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon, with a major in Archaeology and Heritage Studies. He currently serves as a tour guide at the Hedzranawo Slavery Museum, where he helps preserve and interpret the rich cultural and historical legacy of Ghana. With a strong academic foundation in cultural heritage and public history, Gideon is passionate about educating visitors on the enduring impacts of the transatlantic slave trade while promoting the value of Ghanaian traditions and identity. His work blends historical research with storytelling to create meaningful, engaging, and respectful visitor experiences.

Professor Wazi Apoh is an accomplished academic and a full Professor of Archaeology with an extensive record of scholarly publications. He currently serves as Dean of the School of Arts at the University of Ghana, where he also lectures. He is the founder of the Hedzranawo Slavery Market/Museum and the Hedzranawo-Adzido Slave Market Memorial Centre and the Principal Investigator of the Coastal Volta Enslaved Route Project (CVERP), from which the museum emerged.
